Those Obsessing Against Israel Have Blinded Themselves

July 18, 2015

Israeliteindeed continues to show that she has chosen to walk with those who promote falsehoods. Today she has given us (in her post ) an article to read by a man named Alton Raines who teaches contrary to God’s Word and who also makes numerous inflammatory statements against Zionists, calling them racist, self-absorbed, deluded, tyrannical, deceitful, sociopathic, and antichrist.

In his post which Israeliteindeed commends, Raines gives a quote (in his fifth paragraph under his subtitle “A Sucker Punch”) that was supposedly stated by Menachem Begin who was Israel’s Prime Minister from 1977-1983. However, being that simple research reveals that this quote is a hoax, (see these two links for starters: and ), it is alarming that Israeliteindeed is believing people like Raines and recommending their writings. Truly, she has joined those who, in their obsession against Israel, have become very unwise.

Regardless of what is taught by Israeliteindeed, Raines, or any of the many others who are aiming to disparage Israel, God’s Word clearly teaches these things:

1. Jesus is coming back to earth to deliver Israel from her oppressors (Ps. ch. 2 // Isa. ch. 49 // Joel ch. 2 & 3 // Zech. ch. 9 & 12:1-9), to dash those oppressors to the ground (Ps. 2:9 // Isa. 51:17-23 & ch. 52 // Mal. 4:1-3 // Mt. 13:40-43 // Heb. 1:13 // Rev. 19:11-21), and to set up, in physical Zion, His mighty rule. (Ps. 2:6 // Zech. 14:9,16 // Acts 3:20-23 // Rev. 11:15-18 & 12:5)

2. The Israelite nation as a nation is going to recognize their Messiah, repent, be forgiven, and unite themselves to Him forever. (Ho. ch. 2 & 3 & 14 // Mi. 7:18-20 // Zech. 12:10-13:2 // Rom. 11:1,2,12,25-29 // Heb. 8:8-12)

3. There is going to be a future physical Temple in the physical land of Israel before the Tribulation, as well as during the Millennium. (Isa. 2:1-5 & 66:6 // Ezek. ch. 40-48 // Dan. ch. 7 & 8 & 9:24-27 & ch. 12 // Zech. ch. 6 // Mt. 24:14-31 // 2 Thes. 2:1-4)

4. God chose to make, and after their punishment, to restore, Israel to be a special nation to Him and to be a light and a sign for His glory, righteousness, justice, and Truth. (Dt. 7:6-8 & 14:2 & 26:17-19 // Ps. ch. 89 // Jer. ch. 31-33 & 46:27,28 // Ezek. ch. 34-39 // Amos 3:1,2 & 9:11-15 // Zech. ch. 2 // Mt. 19:28 // Acts 26:6,7 // Rom. 9:4,5 // Rev. 21:9-14)

5. We are to bless the nation of Israel because, in spite of her current (but temporary) adultery against God, she, as a nation and physical descendent of Jacob, is God’s firstborn, His beloved and the apple of His eye, and His uniquely chosen vessel. (Gen. 12:2,3 // Num. 24:2,9 // Dt. 32:8-12 // Ps. ch. 122 // Isa. 61:4-9 & ch. 62 // Jer. 31:7-9 // Zech. ch. 2 // Rom. 9:1-13 & 11:11-29 & 15:27)

I have supported my statements above with numerous Scripture passages but there are actually many, many more I could point to in order to show that Israeliteindeed’s stance is contrary to God’s Word. As is recorded in Mt. 19:28, “Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.'” No one can rightly pretend that Jesus’ promise here to His apostles is figurative when He is addressing those whose nation was trusting in God’s promised restoration of their national kingdom under Messiah’s rule. (Isa. 9:1-7 // Luke 1:54,55,67-75 & 2:25-38 // Acts 1:6 & 3:20-23 & 26:6,7) Yet Israeliteindeed, in post after post, has tried to convince us that Scripture’s references using the name “Israel” or “Jacob” are either about that nation’s past history or about the Church.

Even so, for Truth-followers, as Isa. 62:1-11 says, “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent… till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch… You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD’s hand… for the LORD will take delight in you… You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give Him no rest till He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth… Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations. The LORD has made proclamation…” And it is about Zion. It is about Israel. And it is about their salvation, redemption, reward, compensation, holiness, and honor. (v. 11,12)

Truly, those who reject or try to twist what God’s Word repeatedly teaches and commands are the ones who have joined themselves with the antichrist spirit. This is evident to all who know and walk in the Truth, though sadly, many in the Lie seem blind to the reality of their position.

with love,
